![]() ![]() But whining and complaining about a game not coming to your prefered platform is just pathetic, especially when you spread the notion that "Epic Games will save us!!!", which is absolutely ridiculous. If you don't want to buy a PS5, then that's your choice. If Bamco themselves didn't put a Gundam game there, what makes you think that they would allow Epic "moneyhatting" the EXVS series? I'm sure when more Japanese game developers drop their PC support, people will eventually come to realize that Epic Games' dealings with Square-Enix is a necessary - and ultimately lesser evil.ĭifferent companies got different ways in handling their business, so you can't expect each and every one of them got the same mind.Īnd, again, Epic Games can't really do anything, unless Bamco themselves agrees, which is the reason why you don't saw a single Gundam game on the Epic Store. Meanwhile, the creators of Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy VII are at least gonna continue their PC support for another good few years thanks to contractual obligations. Ideally, Bandai Namco Studios would continue their PC support regardless of how well their most recent games performed on PC, but that's an ideal situation for an ideal world. Though ultimately, I can acknowledge that Gundam Evolution and GBO2 will be the next best thing regarding Gundam games on PC. Tim Sweeny and Epic won't help you on this, since they doesn't care about the Gundam franchise, and Bamco definitely won't let outsiders disturb their "golden goose", which is the EXVS series. Your best bet is to make a plea to the Epic Games CEO about funding PC ports of Bandai Namco Studios' future games. OW2 has a lot of work needed to get some of it's rep back, dropping the game to 5v5 and making tanks tankier(and more) is not that path.Originally posted by Aya: creators of EXVS2 actually wanna drop their PC support, and they've three excuses to do exactly that. From the constant anti-community updates, from removing multiple picks of the same chars, to forced role queus, and the extremely brute forced and generally failed attempt at making it a self sustaining esport at the cost of the casual community. The only thing that buying OW2 does for someone that owns 1 is getting a single player campaign.Īs for why there is little hype? Horribly handled the first game on many fronts. The multiplayer part is an update to base overwatch, so there is no additional purchase there. The general gaming community is not hyped about OW 2. Meanwhile, GBO 2 doesn't have any kind of competition on PC, since Gundam Online has ended its service not a while ago, and there's currently no similar game available out there. On the opposite, Gundam Evolution is the one who's likely going to suffer hard, since it competes directly with Overwatch 2, which I doubt Bamco would spend money that much on marketing like Acti-Blizz does to counters it.
